Great Nigeria Day, October 6, 2017: Some Highlights mostly Captured by the President
We would like to thank EVERYONE who attened our Nigeria Day event, October 6, 2017. Your presence and support made it what it should be, a well-attended spectacular event. We truly appreciate your love and support.
Our Special Guest of Honor and the Keynote Speaker, Ambassador (Dr.) Udo Williams, did wonderfully well through his vast knowledge of Nigeria and the world at large. From his performance and support yesterday, it was obvious that he was quite impressed. Our Guest Speaker, Hon. Judge Tola Oresusi, Vice President of the Nigerian Foundation when I joined the Foundation in 1996, spoke so well – diving deep into the Rule of Law from the prisms of Aristotle and Plato, and the need for us to embrace my speech, “The Logic of Collective Action”. From his performance and support, it went without saying that he was a happy camper at the event. Awardees (Sir Chidi Chiege, Mrs. Elsie Iredia, Dr. Eucharia Iwuanyanwu, Mrs. Yemi Koyejo, Dr. Ufot Umana) accepted their well-deserved Awards with great happiness, compliments and humility.
Thank you, and may God continue to bless you abundantly!
Always @ your service,
Prof. Bedford N. Umez
President, The Nigerian Foundation
